Superseding all the earlier notifications issued by the DSSSB regarding weight age of Part – I (Preliminary Exam) & Part – II (Main Exam) of candidates for drawing the final merit in respect of Two Tier Exams, it is hereby notified that Part – I (Preliminary Examination) will be of Qualifying nature restricted to maximum of 10 times of vacancies. The final merit shall be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates (marks secured) in Part-II (Main Examination subject to qualifying Skill Test/Typing Test/ Physical Endurance Test etc. whichever applicable.
The Question-cum-Answer Booklet of Part-II (Main Examination) will be evaluated only of those candidates who qualify Part-I (Preliminary Examination) based on above criteria. Further regarding weight age of One Tier Main Exam.(Objective Type), it is hereby notified that final merit will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates(marks secured) in the One Tier Main Examination subject to qualifying skill Test/Typing Test/Physical Endurance Test etc. whichever applicable. The minimum cutoff marks for qualifying Part-I (Preliminary Exam), Part-II (Main Exam) and one Tier (Main) Exam. shall be as mentioned in in notification below.
